Well, this undermines my self-image. I always thought of myself as distinctly unsentimental; you won’t ever catch me watching “Lifetime: TV for Women.” I always thought I was a logical person capable of making rational arguments, but this DNA report from GenomeLink says the complete opposite. It’s apparently hereditary. What, you mean my mom calling political candidates “ne’er-do-wells” and “snakes in the grass” who are full of “baloney” isn’t logical? What about my dad yelling back at a Biden press conference on TV, “I’ll double mask MY ASS!”?

Anyway, intuition can be very valuable. Back in 2006, when Donald Trump got into his ludicrous feud with Rosie O’Donnell, the press issued breathless updates every day for two weeks. (And the grown-up frat brothers on cable TV were definitely on Team Donald.) Donald is STILL bashing Rosie! He called her a “total loser” today, clarifying yesterday’s remarks that she was a “real loser.” To which I replied: “LMFAO literally deranged.” I pointed out there was definitely something wrong with this guy; I couldn’t believe they were giving him a platform for this flaming idiocy. I remember telling a bunch of guys over dinner in Austin, “You know that crackhead who walks up and down Congress Avenue yelling at people? He’s like that guy.” But homeless addicts have no…
